Madison-based Isomark, LLC was founded in 2005 using technology developed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and patented by Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). The company’s mission is to provide breath-based, near-real-time monitoring technology for the detection of life-threatening infections.

Dr. Cook was a professor in the Animal Sciences Department at the UW-Madison with affiliate appointments in Molecular and Environmental Toxicology, Nutritional Sciences, and Food Microbiology and Toxicology.

Dr. Porter is a Professor of Zoology in the Department of Zoology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he has been conducting research on early detection of infection with stable isotopes for over 10 years.
